Al Sharpton’s Daughter Tried To Bilk New York Tax Payers Out Of Five Million
When it comes to Al Sharpton, the nut doesn’t fall too far from the tree.
That’s because, Dominique Sharpton, daughter to the MSNBC host, Race Ambassador, and Reverend, Al Sharpton, has alleged, in a lawsuit against the city of New York City, that she sustained injuries after stumbling over uneven pavement on the corner of Broome St. and Broadway.
Dominique is claiming that she has endured,
“Internal and external injuries to the whole body, lower and upper limbs… permanent pain, and mental anguish.”
She is seeking compensation from New York City’s Transportation and Environmental Protection Agencies in the amount of $5,000,000.
According to Dominique, she deserves a massive payout because of the,
“Loss of quality of life, future pain and suffering, future medical bills, [and] future diminution of income.”
However, the problem with her claim, is that photos have surfaced showing her climbing ladders, wearing high heels, and marching in protests.
She has even Tweeted under the username MSSharpton2U, pictures of herself and others climbing a mountain.
This is quite an achievement from someone who has just sustained such life altering loss of physical functions, and permanent pain she claims to have received from a sprained ankle.
The importance of this story is not so much the potential fraud that seems apparent at first glance from the lawsuit, but instead who her father is, and what he has accomplished over the years.
Al Sharpton, founder of the National Action Network, has allegedly used the threat of racism to shake down large corporations.
Sharpton has threatened boycotts, and accusations of racism against behemoth companies like Chrysler, General Motors, Anheuser- Busch, and Wal-Mart.
His National Action Network has received large donations from each of the aforementioned companies.
He is no stranger to becoming wealthy from unethical behavior.
When asked about his daughter’s lawsuit, Al is reported to have said,
“She’s twenty nine years old. Why should she have to talk to me about that?
I just know that she was hurt, and that she got a lawyer, and she’s a grown woman. [Where] she goes from there, I have no idea.”
Some are beginning to wonder if this is an early indication that Dominique Sharpton is going to take over the “family business” when Al Sharpton retires, in the way that Michael Corlione took over Vito Corlione’s family business.
Her numerous Tweets and Re-Tweets about racial inequality in America seem to say this is a definite possibility.
